Last night, Friday, Brenda and I attended the concert by the Robby Roberson Band at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Since then I have been thinking and trying to put his music into some kind of genre, but I can’t. It doesn’t meet the requirements of Jazz, or bluegrass, or rock, so I would guess you would have to say that it is in a class all by itself, which is a good thing. Robby writes good songs, leads his bandmates with almost wild abandon, and the result is a wondrously good time. Brenda and I are very glad we went. The music that flowed out of the group had the audience dancing in the aisles. I for one, would highly recommend checking out the group if you get the chance, you will enjoy, you will enjoy
